====Standbeschreibung / Auftreten====

Bei der Präsentation einer Anwendung ist wichtig, dem (noch nicht) 
Nutzer Rede und Antwort zu stehen, Lob (und auch Kritik) mitzunehmen 
und die ein oder andere Frage praktisch zu beantworten. 
Entsprechend soll unser Stand offen gehalten werden, so dass man 
ungezwungen ins Gespräch kommen kann. Ein Präsentationsrechner mit 
Monitor und einem aktuellem Xfce dazu, praktische Hilfe oder Einführung 
zu geben.

====Posters====

For all the exhibitions, conferences and fairs, posters have been created by the German Xfce supporters and sometimes as well by the exhibition, such as Chemnitzer Linux Tage (CLT).

When the exhibition provides the posters, we tried having some reusable texts, based on formulations taken from the web page.

Xfce ist eine schlanke grafische Arbeitsumgebung für verschiedene *NIX-Systeme.
Da sie auf Produktivität optimiert ist, kann sie Anwendungen schnell laden und
ausführen und dennoch Systemressourcen schonen.

Xfce 4.12 verkörpert die traditionelle UNIX-Philosophie der Modularität und
Wiederverwendbarkeit. Es besteht aus einer Vielzahl von Komponenten, die
zusammen für die volle Funktionalität der Arbeitsumgebung sorgen. Diese
Komponenten stehen als frei wählbare Einzelpakete zur Verfügung, aus denen Sie
die für Sie ideale, persönliche Arbeitsumgebung erschaffen.

Ein weiterer Kernpunkt ist, eine standardkonforme Arbeitsoberfläche speziell in 
Bezug auf die Standards von freedesktop.org, zu bieten.

== English ==

Xfce is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. 
It aims to be fast and low on system resources, while still being visually 
appealing and user friendly.

Xfce embodies the traditional UNIX philosophy of modularity and re-usability. 
It consists of a number of components that provide the full functionality one 
can expect of a modern desktop environment. They are packaged separately and 
you can pick among the available packages to create the optimal personal 
working environment.

Another priority of Xfce is adherence to standards, specifically those 
defined at freedesktop.org.
