  • [ ] Draft Pre1 announce blogpost (including wallpaper contest).link to old contest (next time separate issue for submission and voting, if possible!)
  • [ ] Ask core devs to bump the copyright-year (meson.build, helptext, docs), the minimum glib/gtk versions and do dev releases
  • [ ] Release team: Enable Gitlab email-notify on all core components in order to don't miss some critical report

Hint: update this date in order to force a cache update for cdn + don't forget to clear your browser cache. Use php -l $file to validate php code.

  • [ ] Make sure the new wallpapers were added to xfdesktop

    • [ ] docs.xfce.org - Create 4.22 doc structure and copy all files over there (Kevin?)
    • [ ] Merge 4.22 branches of the website into main, so that the changes get published
    • [ ] Make sure to have a xfce-4.22 tag on each component and write Xfce4.22 release mail via release manager
    • [ ] Transifex: No action needed - No action needed .. only required when a 4.22 branch of any component is created.
    • [ ] Publish final blog post (similar to online tour), use the new wallpaper,
    • [ ] Boost Mastodon tweet (see Xfce Blog on Mastodon), Post on Reddit (maggotbrain)
    • [ ] Create 4.22.1 and 4.23.0 milestones for all core-components
