xfce4-settings 4.8 Roadmap
A couple of dialogs are quite big, we should make sure they fit properly on netbook screens, so say a maximum size of 800×500 pixels.
"Solidify" the Keyboard Shortcuts
People have reported a lot of problems with the new keyboard shortcuts system. Apart from fixing these issues, I think we should also implement proper .Xmodmap support.
Improve/Fix Display Settings
This has never really worked for me (Jannis). RandR clearly isn't the friendliest API to work with but I think we should look into making the display settings dialog recognize connected monitors properly and to allow resolutions to be changed an all that (which, as I said, never worked for me).
In the end we should support device properties and (once xorg-server 1.4 is released) mpx.
We could add a clipboard manager daemon like Gnome/KDE, so Ctrl V+C _always_ works.
Completed: 100%, released in xfce4-settings-4.7.0
We should fix the settings-editor so it will finally be possible to edit all property-types in xfconf, and it is possible to add new properties.
Completed: 100%, released in xfce4-settings-4.7.1
