-====== New at Translating Xfce ======
-
-**1.** Join the Mailing-List.
-
-You should consider subscribing to the i18n mailing list. You can let know your intentions there and ask for help.
-
-**2.** Register on Transifex.
-
-Register on the Transifex platform available at translations.xfce.org, it is briefly explained here. Remember to present yourself on the mailing list (your name, language...) and request to be added into the translators group for the upload rights.
-
-**3.** Keep in touch with the current translator(s).
-
-Is your language already translated or being translated by someone else, then you should try to work together with the current translator of that language, and split up the work so you are reducing the workload, and increasing the quality of the translation. Many translators are happy to share the work or even appreciate people discussing translations.
-
-The header of the PO files contain the field "Last-Translator". As example here is the French translation of xfce4-panel: fr.po. If you wish to update an existing translation you can check out that email.
-
-Now you can send an email to the i18n mailing-list with a copy (CC) to the current translator if you did find out his email. Let know what language your are going to translate to and wait for an answer from the current translator. If the current translator doesn't responde in the upcoming weeks (2~3 weeks) you can consider translating the different projects.
